| Q: I have raked the moss out of my lawn and now there is no grass, What should I do? |
| A: You need to overseed your lawn again. If there is little to no grass left you will need to sow it with Evergreen Multi-Purpose Grass Seed, however if there are still signs of growth, You can use an Evergreen Lawn Repair Kit. This is a mixture of grass seed and lawn food. Your lawn should be lush and green in no time. |
| Q: I have used a feed, weed and moss killer on my lawn and it has turned yellow, what has happened? |

A: The weedkiller agent in the feed, weed and moss killer has scorched the top of your lawn. There is not a lot you can do for a quick fix, The best thing to do is to keep your lawn well watered and apply a straight feed later in the season to encourage re-growth. To avoid this happening again, consider some of the following tips:
2- Ensure you do not drop the product in piles on the lawn as this will cause the lawn to burn, also be carefull not to treat an area twice.
3- When you have finished applying the product, place a sprinkler on your lawn. This will wash the majority of the weedkiller into the soil therefore preventing it from scorching the surface. |
| Q: I have patches on my lawn from pets fouling on it, what can I do? |
| A: The best way to get rid of these yellow pathces is to dig them out and re-sow some fresh grass seed. Dig the sod down to about a depth of 2" and throw it away. Top up the patch with some fresh soil and firm down. Then simply sow some fresh seed onto it and water. There is now a new product on the market called Miracle Gro Patch Magic. This clever product contains Coir, Grass Seed and Food so all you have to do is dig out the sod, sprinkle some of the patch magic on and water it. The patches will have dissappeared in no time! |
| Q: I have quite a small garden and have a lot of trouble with Dandelions on my lawn, is there a weedkiller I can use on my grass? |
| A: There is a weedkiller that will kill weeds in a lawn but not harm the grass. It is called "Verdone". It is available in a ready to use spray bottle or in a concentrate so it can be diluted into a watering can or sprayer. |
